ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

SOA continuously takes measures to make its website accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies (Official Gazette, No. 17/2019) (hereinafter: the Act), which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies into Croatian legislation.

This Accessibility Statement applies to the SOA website (https://soa.hr/).

Degree of Compliance

The SOA website is partially compliant with the provisions of the Act. Below is an explanation of the part of the website that is not compliant with the provisions of the Act (content is not accessible) and/or for which exceptions are provided by the Act.

Inaccessible Content

The content listed below is inaccessible for the following reasons:

(a) Non-compliance with the Act

  • On some pages, the structure of the text and the correct reading order cannot be programmatically determined, which makes it difficult to read the pages using assistive technologies.

  • Many documents published in PDF format are not fully accessible, for example, regarding contrast and color usage, and text structure. PDF files that have been scanned may lack or hinder the ability to be read by assistive technologies.

(b) Disproportionate Burden

For all non-compliances listed under item (a), SOA temporarily invokes the exception due to disproportionate burden in accordance with Article 8 of the Act.

(c) Content not covered by the scope of applicable legislation

In accordance with Article 3 of the Act, PDF files published before 23 September 2018 are classified by SOA as archives and are exempt from the application of the Act.
